User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/40.0.2214.111 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Randomly, T-bird stops being able to connect to yahoo mail servers. Can't always make it happen. When it happens, I first try compacting. Rarely works. Delete emails not needed and compact again. Rarely works. Close and re-open T-bird after compacting. Compact, and see several mb deleted. Sometimes will be able to connect but not always. Reboot PC, and then about 95% of the time it will connect, but sometimes have to go through compact process again to make it work. Actual results: Sometimes can get the connection. Sometimes not. Expected results: Connect to yahoo mail servers and send mail.

This is with yahoo defined as imap? And you still see it when using a current version?
