Mike, did you install over a previous build ? This is a usual cause for a
problem like yours. Please try the following:
1. Create a new profile.
2. If that doesn't work, uninstall completely (delete Mozilla program directory
or uninstall from Control Panel), then install the latest build. Again, create a
new profile.
D,
I did not install over a previous build. I completely delete the "bin"
directory in my mozilla/dailybuild folder, then unzip the daily win32-talkback
zip into that folder.

I have used the procedure for quite some time, but only started crashing
sometime around the 0.9.6 build.

Suspecting a corrupted (or changed by dev team) profiles, I deleted my
mozreg.dat and nsreg.dat, but that didn't help, either.

Also deleted all the directories in my c:\program
files\netscape\communicator\users folder as well...hoping there was something
else I was missing...to no avail.

Are there troubleshooting docs I should read somewhere?

Attached file Dr. Watson Log File
If I need to do something else besides attach the Dr. Watson file, pls let me
know. I can figure out how to install and use a differenct debugger, if there
is one I should be using...or if I'm supposed to start mozilla with some debug
option to get a stacktrace, let me know.

Thx,
MKB
Talkback's database went kapoot last night, so those IDs arent' findable...
Wow! I crashed about 4 more times, trying to figure out how to find out the
talkback build IDs (the ones I listed before were in a window). Today, after
the first crash, talkback recycled through the report wizard 5 times, then sent
all five talkbacks to the Collector.

Next, I started the Netscape Talkback program from my Start button twice (trying
to find the properties files, so I could display the Talkback IDs).

Then, all of a sudden, I tried mozilla again, and the program started up!!? I
can't get it to crash again.

Could it be that I was crashing because my build was talkback and the db was down?

If so, think this should still be a bug, because mozilla startup should not have
a talkback dependency...

If there's something I can do to help debug, let me know.
MKB
unlikely that talkback had anything to do with a mozilla crash.
(your talkback stack trace:)
