User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0 Build ID: 20150125222008 Steps to reproduce: I created a panel with an simple HTML <input type="text"></input> tag. This panel opens when clicking on a widget attached to the widget bar. I run this addon on Ubuntu Linux with Firefox 35.1. The addon is created with addon-sdk 1.17. Actual results: When typing in AltGr-Q which is used to produced @, the panel closes already on typing the AltGr key. Expected results: The panel should keep open. Otherwise it is impossible to type @, € and other character on German and other keyboard layouts in a panel.
This problem seems not to occur on Windows (7). I only have access to Ubuntu, where this problem occurs.
AltGr is available on standard non-US keyboards, such as international US, UK, German and others. It is at the same position as the right Alt key on standard US keyboards. (In reply to Erik Vold [:erikvold] (please needinfo? me) from comment #5) > Unfortunately we have a number of panel issues atm. Interestingly it does not happen in Windows 7.
