1134402 - Marketplace logo is clipped on mobile and tablet widths

It was mentioned in the PR that the logo was cropped at mobile width on desktop:

IMO that shouldn't be the case. And I was able to reproduce this on Mobile Safari on iOS 8, on a desktop at a non-tablet width (699px), and on Android (albeit spoofed in Chrome).

The placeholder for the search field is also truncated at Market… which looks odd.

* Verified on Safari 7.1.3:
1. 699px - The logo basket is not cut, the "Marketplace Firefox" text is not truncated but the search field is (Search the Market...)
2. 540px - The logo basket is not cropped and the text from the search field is ok.

Should I file another bug related to the truncated text from the search field?
