Print  > Print selected


Actual results:

Print selection is wrong, cut part of the text at the end and there is somethimes a big blank div at the top

Print only selected text

unfortunately this report is not very useful because it does not describe the problem well. If you have time and can still reproduce the problem, please read https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines and add a more useful description to this report so that others could reproduce. Because with a random website I cannot reproduce.

well:

go to:

and select this paragraph #La_Battaglia_di_Anghiari

go to print Ctrl+P and select "Selected" (I have to option in italian, I suppose it is Selected/Selection).

You will have a lot of white space.
(just as test, this is not happening on IE 11 just to be sure that it isnt a printer bug)
Selecting 3 paragraph you will see even a text cut swapping page.

I don't have that option. Please provide operating system information (if that's actually the print dialog provided by your operating system).

My OS is windows 7 x64 professional (last update).

For print option:
File > Print

(if you select something inside page "selected" is active)

if you need additional information plz ask me, I will add even screenshot.

Reproduced with a 36 Beta printing into a file that text can be cut in the middle of a line (cut off or split between pages), and empty pages added before it.

The empty pages are those that are filled when printing in full.
