The German search plugins are (from Aurora 37.0a2 build):

wikipedia-de.xml
yahoo-de.xml

I'd like to have them escept for the wikipedia plugin. There should be wikipedia-hsb.xml resp. wikipedia-dsb.xml.

Mark, please consider that this is for Thunderbird, I saw this bug on the dashboard. It seems that you think that there is no solution but there is still a solution for Firefox:

Bug is still unfixed - there are no search engines listed in the default search engine box in TB settings -> General - it is a small empty box with checkmark.

The search engines are shown in the TB Settings now. But they are the English ones. The German search engines should be used - with 1 exception: Wikipedia. Wikipedia exists both in Upper Sorbian and in Lower Sorbian. So please use:

twitter-de.xml
yahoo-de.xml
wikipedia-hsb.xml resp. wikipedia-dsb.xml (see comments 4 and 5)

Not a bug that localizers can fix, this should live in Thunderbird (not sure if Search or General).
