For a while now, my mother has been getting increasingly frustrated about some extremely irritating ads that Mozilla is showing her. I finally got an image of what she's talking about: http://i.imgur.com/mfyFZoA.jpg Apparently there is a DoubleClick popup window, and its titlebar text "Advertisement - Mozilla Firefox" is being misinterpreted as "An advertisement from Mozilla Firefox", resulting in negative feelings toward us. I'm not really sure what can be done on the UX side here -- maybe hiding "Mozilla Firefox" for popups -- but maybe other people are having the same issue. Obviously preventing the popups from occurring in the first place would be best (probably an antivirus addon).
For a non-foolproof idea: could we show the source of the popup, potentially blaming the addon in question?
