User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0 Build ID: 20150122214805 Steps to reproduce: 1) Go to http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00P9Y34NC/ref=s9_ri_gw_g63_i1?pf_rd_m=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&pf_rd_s=center-4&pf_rd_r=0E4X53WKVCRQJ4GZT81T&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1949527602&pf_rd_i=915398 2) Move mouse over the small image to display the zoomed in image beside it. 3) Start at top and work your way to the bottom. Actual results: You'll notice that when moving your mouse over the image, only the top of the image is getting displayed - the rest of the image gets cut off until mouse movement stops, and css properties on the image element have not changed for a few moments. Expected results: Entire image should be displayed, properly positioned, not cut off.
Hello Reporter, Thanks for reporting this problem. I tried duplicating this issue on firefox 35.o, latest released version and latest build of firefox. I do see that entire image not get displayed in

Sorry, my previous comment got posted by mistake before I finished writing. I am not exactly sure about the issue that you are encountering. I do see that entire image is not getting displayed in the image beside it. But that's the expected behavior because entire zoomed in image can not be displayed on the single page. Only the rectangular outlined area displayed on mouse over event is displayed as the zoomed in image next to the original image. You also mentioned about moving the mouse from top to bottom of the image. I did that and saw no problem in both 35.0 and 43.0.1 (one of the latest version). I did see a small delay in movement of the rectangular area with respect to mouse movement. Are you referring to this as your original issue? But this behavior is exactly the same as other browsers like Chrome. I am attaching a screenshot of what I observed on a Windows 7 box with Firefox 35.0 and 43.0.2. I tested on: Name Firefox Version 35.0 User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0 and Name Firefox Version 43.0.2 Build ID 20151221130713 User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 In case you have not upgraded so far, may I also request you to upgrade Firefox to the latest version and check if you still encounter the issue. In case yes, please try to duplicate the problem by creating a new profile. If you are still able to reproduce the issue then please provide some additional information along with some screenshots.

The originally observed behaviour (within Firefox v35) was that the rectangular area's top and left properties, set within the style tag on the node in question, were not getting updated when scrolling over the original image, which caused the image preview functionality to fail, and this behaviour was persisting across page reloads and when fully closing and re-opening the browser. However, I cannot reproduce with any more recent version of Firefox, and it seems reasonable to assume that if there was an issue (and not something specific to my setup), that is has since been resolved.
