We used additional error reporting in bug 1119529 to uncover the root cause of that bug. In this bug, we will add that additional error reporting permanently.

I take this.
Part of this was implemented in bug 697522, so that some filter errors go to the filter log (not console).
Some more will be added in bug 1547508.
Need to check if https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8552070 contains some additional places to be checked if they should be reported.
