Using build 1999080508 on win95 and PaulH says it happens on Mac too, if you open Messenger using Task menu item it will close Navigator. If you open Address Book from Messenger Task menu it will close Messenger. I will check linux 1. Launch Apprunner result Navigator browser opens up. 2. Select Messenter from the Tasks menu list - result Navigator closes Messenger opens, 3. Close Messenger = nothing left Same is true if you launch Messenger only, then open Address Book from the Tasks menu list, Messenger closes.
Confirmed, linux has this problem too.
Summary: Opening components closes the previous componet → Opening components closes the previous component
Yes, I just filed a similar bug, lemme go find it.
I don't see this problem with the editor on mac (8/5 build)
Using 19990806 builds on Win95, mac and linux this is no longer happening for the scenarios mentioned above. This can be verified for my scenarios when the dup is resolved.
Whiteboard: Possible dup & can't reproduce.
I'm not seeing this either. Dup or not, can we resolve it to get it off the radar?
