113553 - Deleting large message (unable to delete it)

I received a message with 11 attachments, 43 CC addresses, with a message a few
hundred lines long.  I was not able to delete by pressing the delete key, the
delete button on toolbar, delete from context menu, or by moving it to the trash
from the toolbar, context menu, or by dragging it into the trash.

Is it pop or imap?  Can you attach that message to the bug if it is not
confidential. Also try to delete the .msf file of that folder where the message
is and try deleting it.  
Can you move that message to another folder? What is the size of that message?

I was able to see the problem using build 2001-12-03-06 build on win98. The
message attached in this bug(first attachment by the reporter)cannot copy/move
or delete it.
confirming.  
After I saved this attachment to the local folder from build 2001-12-05-04 I
crashed every time I launched the application. But was able to go back to 12-03
build to see the problem.

I'm setting the priority high because we shouldn't get stuck when trying to
delete a message.  reassigning to naving and cc'ing ducarroz.

The problem here is that message has a line which is more than 1000 chars.
According to rfc-822 this is wrong. therefore copying is failing. 
How did you receive the message in the first place?

I received the email from a Hotmail user.  Figures, heh?

I think my last message may have been somewhat confusing.  I received the
message from a hotmail user.
The message that I received has already been attached in binary, html, and text
form.
