1135539 - New perf tool makes the whole browser freeze

Happens on my school computers. Haven't investigated why yet, I don't really know if it's the devtools fault, or if it's because my school computers are total crap.
They are running Windows XP (I filed this as it might help investigating the perf tool crashes)

Please be more specific. The timeline or the new performance panel? Do you compile with enable-devtools-perf?

The new performance panel. I tried using Gum.

There's a known and frequent freeze problem that happens while running tests. You might be hitting that.  We're working on it. Let's see if this solves your problem (bug 1133781).

Internet at my school is currently broken, but I'll try once it works again.

Just tested, and it still happens on my school's XP powered desktops.

STR :
- Start a recording
- Stop the recording

AR :
The whole browser freezes

This should no longer be happening, or else we have bigger problems. If this persists in current dev edition or nightly, then let's reinvestigate.
