User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0
Build ID: 20150122214805

Steps to reproduce:

Opened http://danielstern.ca/range.css/ in latest Fennec Nightly.

Actual results:

Page renders fine, range input/slider switcher dropdown works fine as well - but the custom sliders are practically unusable, they can't be dragged, they barely react to any interaction - but with a delay. The main thread seems blocked as scroll does seem to work afterwards, but lower portions of the page remain unrendered/draft rendered only.

Expected results:

Page should remain working fine, sliders should react to dragging smoothly.

Thanks for reporting this.
I tested the issue with Nexus 6P (Android 8.1.0) and LG G4 (Android 6.0.0) on latest Nightly and Release and I could reproduce it following next steps:

1. Go on http://danielstern.ca/range.css/
2. Drag the custom sliders.

On Chrome seems to be easier to drag the sliders, also on Beta 62.0b5 Please watch the video to understand easier the issue.

The sliders seem to work to me. Do they still seem slow to you in Nightly 66?

This seems to work fine on latest Fenix Nightly, there is some slowness due to the rendering updates (I believe some debounce on the slider move could improve experience from the site's side, but that's a perf issue unrelated to the implementation AFAICT).
