I've had this a couple of times in the past month or so - possibly only when we've pushed an RC (though I'm not sure). What happens is I'll check for an update manually and it will fail, but succeed if I try again. I tried looking into it today and I don't understand why it thinks the update failed. Attached is my updates.xml which clearly shows an integrity error. The hashes and filesizes in it look fine, and match what's on FTP: -bash-4.1$ ls -l total 117816 -rw-r--r-- 1 ffxbld firefox 25354439 Feb 20 04:51 firefox-34.0.5-36.0.partial.mar -rw-r--r-- 1 ffxbld firefox 836 Feb 20 04:51 firefox-34.0.5-36.0.partial.mar.asc -rw-r--r-- 1 ffxbld firefox 21907877 Feb 20 04:51 firefox-35.0.1-36.0.partial.mar -rw-r--r-- 1 ffxbld firefox 836 Feb 20 04:51 firefox-35.0.1-36.0.partial.mar.asc -rw-r--r-- 1 ffxbld firefox 21951663 Feb 20 04:51 firefox-35.0-36.0.partial.mar -rw-r--r-- 1 ffxbld firefox 836 Feb 20 04:51 firefox-35.0-36.0.partial.mar.asc -rw-r--r-- 1 ffxbld firefox 4193355 Feb 20 04:51 firefox-36.0b10-36.0.partial.mar -rw-r--r-- 1 ffxbld firefox 836 Feb 20 04:51 firefox-36.0b10-36.0.partial.mar.asc -rw-r--r-- 1 ffxbld firefox 46708813 Feb 20 04:51 firefox-36.0.complete.mar -bash-4.1$ sha512sum *b10* d7ca7256437d20b08820bf4a6d9aa2ba64fd74747815c90e3fc7bade4b11a53cd8a60d0ed00825c503f2fca14ffa39515300686e9b58f063f48e4e3628915bfb firefox-36.0b10-36.0.partial.mar e3173c1fc57f803eb5a3ae31693f79a6b5287549027dec188776f151f17ab50a94d5633138ebf7d801e2a5495968922fe048d6b6fd9f422c7eeecbdf6adaf1c5 firefox-36.0b10-36.0.partial.mar.asc -bash-4.1$ sha512sum *complete* fe6f7105e2ab7718af5242f1774ae23b4638477ed649f7d2aca011f52996e0b5fbc29d2530ca00f17b6540baefeb343eeb09213d34528e537d93ef226d896db5 firefox-36.0.complete.mar The download comes from a CDN, which makes me think something is wrong on that front, but these files are not overwritten, which makes that far less likely. I would expect failures during "final verify" is that were the case, too. I've got my entire appdir backed up in case any other files would be helpful.
Ben, are you still seeing this?
