Control Click the window and show contextual menu.


Actual results:

Contextual menu is shown, but the background color is incorrecrt.

Contextual menu is shown, and the background is correcrt.

I can't reproduce using Nightly 39.0a1 2015-02-25 under Mac OS X 10.10.
Are you still seeing it with a new profile?

Yes, I can reproduce this in  a Safe Mode,  and see this with a new fresh profile, too.

Can you test this if you check "System Preferences" -> "Accessibility" -> "Reduce transparency"?

Indeed, this option causes it - but I don't know if it's intended or not.

This issue seems to have been fixed on latest-mozilla-central: Firefox 39.0a1 (2015-03-18),
but not on latest-mozilla-aurora: Firefox 38.0a2 (2015-03-18).
