Cory, just a note as to implementation for this:

I think the designs for versions A & B for this page [1] are probably now different enough to warrant using separate templates/URL's for each design. We may need to use either Google Analytics or Optimizely to split/redirect traffic to each page.

So we may have something like:

/en-US/38.1/whatsnew/
/en-US/38.1/whatsnew/b/

We've done this before in the past I believe. Happy to discuss further if you need.

Oh, looks like the designs have changed again... I need to see the final designs to move forward with templating - there's now 2 different versions of 'A', which is confusing.

And note that it's called 38.0.5 now, as 38.1 would collide with an ESR version number.

Cory, just noting here that we will need to arrange with garethc on how we do the A/B test here for whatsnew. Because we're using different URLs for each design, we will need to use either Optimizely or GA to redirect traffic from /whatsnew/ to /whatsnew/b/. 

We've done this before for previous /whatnew tests:
