User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/40.0.2214.111 Chrome/40.0.2214.111 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Dear all, I installed Lightning 3.3.3 on Thunderbird 31.4.0. I click on the icon to open Lightning in a new tab window. It successfully opens but does not display a tab window title. Please see the attached screenshot. Can someone reproduce this on Linux? Thankfully, Robert
Do you have any messages in the error log (ctrl+shift+j) when expiriencing this?Does this also happen for the task pane? Do you have further extensions installed and if so, does this also appear if you have disabled all of them?
Component: General → Calendar Views
There is also a missing title for the Tasks tab. I have a number of extensions installed and will have to go through all of them to identify a potential conflict. Can I somehow generate a list of installed extensions so that you might be able to indicate which extension could pose an issue? Thanks, Robert
The messages seem to be not directly related to the issue. To confirm that this is related to another extension, simply disable all extensions (menu->help->Restart with Add-ons Disabled) and just re-enable Lightning. If the issue then is gone, re-enable the other add-ons one by one until you see it broken again. You can find a list of installed exetnsions at menu->help->troubleshooting information.
Thanks very much for your help! I was able to identify that Contact Tabs [1] was causing the incompatibility. After having it disabled, the tab title properly appears. I informed the developer of the add-on to have a look at this. [1] https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/contact-tabs/
Resolving this to WFM based on comment #4, because this is an issue of another add-on.
