Hm. I can see advantages to doing this, but it's a bit foggy in my mind whether it will work / how much work it will be. Sandboxes are special snowflakes, so we should tread cautiously on this one and ask along the way whether doing this actually makes sense.
Sure.  I think it's a prerequisite for the bugs that bug 1137773 blocks.  Of course we may want to just wontfix those.

Doing this would also allow us to remove the gunk added in 1155898 and the resulting nasty dependency chains Sandbox.cpp now has on all sorts of stuff...
