b2g devs occasionally need to know what the upstream source of a repository is. (See bug 1137654 comment 4 for an example.) This is for all the repositories mirrored by the vcs-sync system. This is possible to do with gitolite, but requires: - changes to our gitolite config - tweaking legacy mirror creation process to set the description - tweaking modern mirror creation process to set the description - doing a one time cleanup
