From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011206 BuildID: 2001120608 Upon loading (or following load of) certain sites, Mozilla hangs perpetually with no further repaints, grabbing 99-100% CPU while hung, until the app is forcibly killed. By my reckoning, I've been seeing this behavior on the trunk since at least 2001-11-17. (See below) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.) Load the URL. 2.) View results. =P This behavior was originally witnessed in my comments for bug 110357 , which turned out to be a dupe of another bug and thus unrelated to the behavior I was seeing. (For further background see my Additional Comments #4 and #8 in that bug, and jrgm's response to said behavior in #13.) As in that bug, other sites I've noted the same results with are: http://www.dragonbbs.com/members (Will return a 403 error before hanging on "Document: Done"-Probably occurs on loading the favicon) http://www.scenemusic.net/ http://www.ojuice.net/ Also as noted in 110357, jrgm reported WFM on all sites WRT this bug under Win32 (Win2K), at least as of 2001-12-04...
GAH! Forgot the most obvious keyword. X\ (Me am stupid, too.)

WFM, Linux 2001-12-24-08. Must have Gone Away in recent days. All URLs in the testcase load for me now. What a relief! Dunno if it'd be seemly to resolve my own bug at this point, though...|\
Works for me, too. Linux build 2002021412.
