Jen, Ty - for locales where we do not yet have a localized image, I was thinking we could pretty easily fall back to a version without the text (like we have currently). What do you think?

If this is worth doing, Ty could you provide a .jpg version of the above screenshots without text?

Talked with Ty on IRC, and the consensus is that it would be preferable to fall back to en-US images if a localized version is not available - as this gives a more accurate representation of the Firefox OS UI.

This will have the side-effect of creating mixed strings on some pages where we don't yet have a localized version of the image. But something we will have to live with for now.

I re-exported the hero images. The previous versions which appeared darker did not include an sRGB color profile upon exporting. This latest set should appear lighter on screen:

Hmm, those JPGs seem to be causing color issues. I have used a different compression method on the PNGs which did help reduce the file size considerably. We could most likely use these over the JPGs now:

Ty, we seem to be missing English versions of the screenshots for 1.1 and 1.4. These are required for our l10n image helper to work, since pages that do not have a localized image need to fall back to en-US. Can you please provide some english versions?

For 1.1 I only seem to have 'it' and 'pt'

For 1.4 only 'bn-bd'
