User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0
Build ID: 20150222232811
Steps to reproduce:
I get a video and then click the little arrow next to the whirling balls and then click save when prompted a number (1) appears and giving the impression that the video is downloading.
Actual results:
When I click the little arrow to see the downloads it says no downloads this session. When I go to the dwhelper folder it is empty. If I click quick download it copies something to the dwhelper folder (not a video).
Expected results:
It should work like it has for years.
I have tried reinstalling, installing older version of download helper. I have tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling but nothing works.

It seems that the extension is not compatible with Firefox36.
The author of each extension is responsible for it and you have to ask him for support.
In this case the extension author seem to already know about the issue as you can read at the bottom of the "about this addon" box here : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/

Thank you so much for your comments. I guess I will simply wait for a new version of Download helper. It is nice to know I am not the only one with this problem. I have learned how to download with Google Chrome but it is not a nice as Download helper. Thanks again.
