STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have a large secondary display connected to a Retina MacBook Pro 2. On the secondary display, zoom a Firefox window to maximum (but not full screen) size 3. Drag the Firefox window from the secondary display to the retina screen 4. The overly wide Firefox window should resize in a way to fit the retina screen On the Finder window, the close, minimize and zoom buttons should be repeated as depicted in the attachment.

What version of OS X are you running? What version of Firefox? Try running in Safe Mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Safe+Mode). I haven't seen this one before. Is it a recent regression?

I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 (14C109) and Firefox 36.0. I'll try safe mode later.

Seems like we might have traded this one for bug 1247272 ?
