Description:
When a user is listening to a single album from an artist, they will observe that skipping betweeen songs will flicker/fade the album art to black temporarily, regardless of the fact that the album art doesn't change between songs. It can be observed on another devices that support similar music features (example iPhone, iPod Touch) that while playing between songs of the same album with the same album art that the art will remain constant on the screen/device throughout.

PreReq:
* Have songs of the same album with the same album art loaded on your device
Repro Steps:
1) Update a Flame to 20150303010233
2) Open the 'Music' app.
3) Choose an album with multiple songs.
4) While song is playing, observe the album art.
5) Observe album art after song finishes and transitions.
6) Repeat step 5 with skipping to the next track and rewinding to the previous.

Actual:
Album art fades to black in between songs of the same album with the same album art when transitioned.

Expected:
Album art remains constant on screen in between songs of the same album with the same album art when transitioned.

I think it is a nice bug to fix, but not a blocker bug.

Actually, Hema, do you think it is a bug? If not we can close it with resolved:invalid

If you think it doesn't look right, then yes, it is a bug.
Well I think since fading signals the start of the new song, it may not be a bug even if it fades in/out between songs with same image, but on the other hand, I wasn't sure what the UI team's consensus would be.
Let's NI Hung then.

Hung, do you have an idea if that's the right visual ?

Thanks.

Hub,

Once Hung confirms the expected behavior from the UX side, we should get this fixed as a polish bug.

Thanks
Hema

Hey

Not the most serious of bugs but it is a bug. :)

The album art shouldn't flicker in between songs if their coming from the same album.

Thanks!
