From what I can see, the items are actually in fact added to the shopping bag. However, the page doesn't reload and the UI in the page doesn't tell you what you've added until you explicitly click on the shopping bag itself. 

So, definitely a change in page behavior, but slightly more subtle. Still probably considered broken.

Verified on 58.0a1 that items were added to the shopping bag and UI updated to display bag count.

I've retested the issue and it is no longer reproducible while Tracking Protection is enabled (basic or strict).
