This bug tracks development of the MachV feature to improve support for finding
plugins.  It is mostly about the xpapps portion (separate from the back-end stuff).

This requires little or no work on our part.

One suggestion is to add a "find plugin" button to the download dialog, but 
that's not going to happen.  Open another feature request bug if we gotta have 
that.

There is a bug for getting the default plugin (and server-side stuff) working.  
I'll find that and make it a blocker for this one.
