Apparently you build Kodi.tv add-ons with a little bit of XML and a little bit of Python.
Kodi FTW!

Here's the addon functionality I imagine:

0 - Play the videos (obviously!), which in this case is: Get the video URL from AirMo and feed it to Kodi Player.
1 - List live streams
2 - List recent videos
3 - List trending Videos
4 - Browse channels and videos in channels
5 - Play random video
6 - Ability to login and see the mozilla only content
7 - Search

I believe that (0), (2) are the minimum functionality to get this rolling. I'd go for (1) and (6) afterwards.

It's good stuff, let's make it happen :)

Does all the podcast work you've done recently change the priority on this?

Any idea giorgos? We now have a XML RSS feed that works in iTunes as a podcast. E.g. https://air.mozilla.org/feed/itunes/
Is that something we can use in Kodi?

Thanks for creating the feed :peterbe :)

Kodi supports RSS [0] and this should just work. I'll try at home and update here.

A kodi addon still makes sense for the added functionality I suggest in comment #1

It works! Just add a new Video Source with rss://air.mozilla.org/feed/itunes
That's awesomeness!
Wonderful Awesomeness!
