For new users without a complete profile we are creating a new user in the DB and we force profile editing (using RegisterMiddleware) in order to restrict navigation for the rest of the portal.
This seems to be broken now causing an infinite redirection.
Steps to reproduce:
* Create a new user in the DB without a complete profile
* Login as a new user
* Infinite redirection occurs

It turns out this is a regression that affects only the development environment. A quick workaround for this could be to manually add the "Rep" or "Admin" group to the user created.
