114066 - profile forgotten, asks to move profile every time mozilla starts up

Every time I start up mozilla it asks me if I want to create a new profile or
migrate one.  It forgets all settings when I quit.  I now have 11 profiles created.

20020204 build id (now)

Still have the problem after deleting all mozilla prefs files and application
folders, reinstalling newest milestone.  It wants to keep migrating my 4.75
communicator profile whenever I start up mozilla.  I use HFS+ on mac os 9.1. 
Maybe it's a problem specific with my installation of 4.75 which I don't want to
uninstall just now, but if it helps to discover the bug I could.

Not sure what files you are removing each time- if you remove Documents:Mozilla
and/or System Folder:Preferences:Mozilla Registry, you should be shown
unmigrated 4.x profile or asked to create new.
Can you be more specific as to what files you remove before installing?

I think John Levon is right, it was probably a problem with the name in my
navigator.  Can't duplicate the error anymore.
