This is a bug to track comments on HLS video streams from the Wowza Streaming Engine (wowza1) delivered through the Edgecast CDN.

If reporting a problem, please include information on:
         * how your device is connected to the net
(Office LAN, Home DSL, Home Cable, 3G/4G Wireless... )
         * if possible include the results of a speedtest
Video was choppy and froze several times during today's monday meeting.
-Connected wired from the Mountain View Office
I tried the hls-stream only to be greated by a 'no sources found' message. Guessing that it requires flash I switched over to chrome and the streaming worked with major problems.

The experience was really bad, streaming stopped not less than 10 times, in the end producing an effect of two streams playing at the same time, each with a different starting time.

Very high quality home office network here, designed created managed and monitored by a former network operations person (/me). My ISP is also really good, the average latency stayed low, packet loss to various targets was 0%. I pay for 200Mbit down and 20Mbit up and I actually get it around this hour, so I would say, it's neither a local or ISP issue.
The HLS stream was stalling badly in the MTV Office. Still digging, but this does not look like a network bandwidth issue. More probably a Wowza Streaming Engine configuration issue. We were pushing the memory limits on the VM. I'm going to request an increased memory size and see if that helps.

I get stall-free viewing on an iPad Mini connected over wifi running the Fennic Test browser while Firefox on my desktop is stalling badly on my MacBook with Firefox Desktop using a wired ethernet connection.
Michal, Which version of Firefox were you using?

Per Richard, we updated the memory on the wowza1 VM - bug 1151027.
Depends on: 1151027
When browsing to https://air.mozilla.org/hls-test/ today for the weekly meeting, I get an error dialog that says "Cannot load M3U8: No levels in manifest"

I'm running Chrome 41.0.2272.118 (Official Build)

Switching to Theoplayer in August. HLS comments should now be added to bug #1189496.
