Details
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011207 BuildID: 2001120708 Under some situations, some account settings are reset to default values. The settings under "Copies and Folders" frequently reset to "Click here to select an account" Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create at least 2 IMAP email accounts 2. Enable S/MIME security on one account (not sure if req'd) 3. Open Edit|Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings 4. Select "Copies and Folders" for one account 5. Select "Place a copy..." if not selected 6. Select new option from drop-down menu (e.g. Local Folders) 7. Close options window with "OK" 8. Re-open account settings window Actual Results: All destinations for "Place a copy", "Drafts", and "Templates" reset to "Click here to select an account" or to settings set in previous version of Mozilla. Expected Results: New options for accounts changed should remain at the new values. Options for other accounts should not be affected. Problem occurred after playing around with S/MIME settings for various accounts. Also, settings window will occasionally cease to responding to all input other than "OK" and "Cancel" buttons -- selecting any of the settings windows in the left-hand list will not change the right-hand pane, and twistys in left-hand list do not function. Once in this state, hitting either "OK" or "Cancel" has no effect other than to close the window, but since this behavior intermingles with above behavior of resetting account selections, it is difficult to determine if changes take effect regardless.
