User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0 Build ID: 20150310030235 Steps to reproduce: I just upgraded Nightly from 20150304030231 and I've encountered several times already where I will either click a link or type something into the location bar and hit enter and nothing will happen. This didn't happen in the prior build. I'm using e10s. Actual results: A few seconds later I will see a notification banner at the top of the screen saying Nightly is running slow. If I click the stop script option nothing happens. If I click the debug script option it unfreezes the tab and everything starts to work fine again. It doesn't seem to do any debugging. I have no extensions enabled, and no plugins other than the OpenH264. This is different from the other freezes I've encountered and reported. It's not like the whole GUI is frozen it's just the single tab. This is different from the other bugs I've filed #1133928 and #1099497. Also different from #1065463 and #1067470. Expected results: The delay should not occur.
During the freeze the plugin-container consumes about 10% CPU for about 10 seconds. Clicking stop script does nothing, only clicking debug script works. This has happened to me quite a few times today.
Can you please try to reproduce it using safe mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-safe-mode), to be sure that the bug is not related with any of the installed add-ons.

I don't have any installed add-ons. I run this profile bare for testing purposes.

Also different from bug #1065463 and bug #1067470. Please use the word "bug" in front of bug numbers > notification banner at the top of the screen saying Nightly is running slow. currently I don't think firefox has a notification that appears "at the top". however, what you might be referring to is one of three distinct itmes: - windows *title bar* containing "(Not Responding)" - Firefox dialog prompt "Unresponsive Script" - Firefox doorhanger at bottom of screen about an add-on making firefox run slow to which you an respond "ignore", "disable", etc.

I forgot I filed this. Whatever it was disappeared a few builds later. If I see it again I'll reopen.
