Details

We'd like to add TV functionality on emulator to support TV Manager API for following use cases.

1. More flexible TV functional test. Currently we hard code a relatively limited set of tuner/source/channel/EPG data and the timing to fire TV stack events in Fake TV service to help some basic tests for TV Manager API. The test scenarios could become less restrictive if there's a more flexible way to load test data and control the timing to fire events.

2. For Gaia developers who may make use TV Manager API to build up relevant apps. Having TV functionality on emulator may help them validate against customized data and timing of events.
