All posts that were syndicated years back now display as one paragraph and then are cut off with an ellipsis.

Craig, if you have time it would be great if you could see if there's an easy fix for this.

No idea what happened here. Those posts may be gone forever unless we can recover them from the old site (if they're still there in a backup somewhere). There's a whole bunch there that shouldn't be crossposted to the syndicated category, but not sure if that's at all related to this issue.
