Expected results:

For me as an end user it us uncomfortable that Homescreen is horizaontal or vertical only. There are apps that are horizontal only and some are vertical only. Then when use of them and press Home button (software or by gesture) it is extremely annoying that app was horizontal (like Music App) and after press Home button vertical Homescreen appears (when user holds tablet still in horizontal). Android is able to do reorder of icons on tablets what helps a lot. Here also should be such feature.

As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
