Steps to reproduce:

1. Open several URL's in tabs.
2. After some time, selected the first tab (it was a small text/plain page from my web server).


Actual results:

I got a "Server not found" error. Note that there was no Internet connection where I was.


Expected results:

The page should have been displayed from the cache.

Do you have steps to reproduce? Device? Android version? Can you also try to reproduce using Nightly for Android and report back if that works for you (http://nightly.mozilla.org)

No, this seems to occur after several days.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

4.4.2 from Samsung.

Thanks for report! Could you please try the latest Nightly build, and see if this issue is still reproducing?
With Bug 1232867 - (offline-browsing) [meta] Offline-browsing Firefox have been changing the behavior regarding this issue and offline.

Well, I now get "Showing offline version" with Firefox Beta 50.0b10 when I'm not connected, which is exactly what I expect (tried with my Galaxy Note 7, Android 6.0.1). So, I assume that the bug is fixed.
