This nice little program that they sell to college/universities around the world
is now phasing mozilla as a possible browser to use but yet allows for netscape
6.x (not 6.0) to login.

Possibly depends on bug 95849
you can see http://cp.durhamc.on.ca as example
I think this is possibly because it cannot detect java/javascript or cookies
settings. For some reason, CP is very anal about having javascript and cookies
turned on. Theres a way to go past the detection by going to
http://cp.durhamc.on.ca/cp/home/loginf but the fact that I have to remember
this is annoying enough. Plus if you go that way, you will notice that is
insecure (broken key)
I need to correct myself, they do not support 6.x products at all.
There is indeed a problem at:

http://cp.durhamc.on.ca

and this site is in Canada. I will write to learn why they are refusing NS6 or
Mozilla.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
I don't understand why this barrier is up as the site works fine in N6 and
Mozilla. And the irony of this is that I used Mozilla to help solve a huge
problem with getting emails thanks to Mozillas javascript error reporting tool.

Just remember that your contact is at www.campuspipeline.com and not at
durhamc.on.ca as the first site develops the website for colleges to use.
I correct myself, it IS my college that is being anal! I visted
campuspipeline.com school showcase, and i don't see that error with the other
sites I visit! I'll do some interigating to see who the contact is.
Updated summary/URL

Katsuhiko, I was told you can email helpdesk@cp.durhamc.on.ca and that they will
properly forward the email on where it should go.
Summary: Phasing Mozilla out from their products → Mozilla/N6 not permitted to enter their website
I think I will contact both the colleges affected and the campuspipeline
company. The latter to see if there is some policy they are passing it to
each campus deployment.
did you want me to continue posting the other sites that are rejecting N6? There
were quite a few more. It looks like 1/4 of the sites they have listed in
"School Showcase" has the problem. (The error page are nearly the exact same)
Are you lloking at the sites listed at:

http://www.campuspipeline.com/schools/showcase.html ?

Then, please add other places that reject Mozilla/NS6.

I tried all the sites listed in comment #8 with 2002-02-04 Mozilla
trunk build and also with NS trunk build from 2002-02-08. All
the sites displayed without a warning.

Which build are you using to test this?
You have to find the campus pipeline (A P in a circle) link on each page.
EX: http://www.westark.edu/ has their pipeline link on the top right.
I'm asking around, and its starting to sound like they feel that "Durham
College is not a fault, contact Campus Pipeline in the States"
Kat, I dunno how far along you are going with this bug, but I milked another
contact from my college. Email david.pisavek@durhamc.on.ca Apparently, hes the
webmaster for the college. Then theres apparently the server admin who
administrates campus pipline server, currently on vacation right now. I can see
if I can get his/her email address too if you wish?
This issue has been currently fixed ;) (At least for my college)
