Looking into making small improvements to the ecosystem view

- I would prefer if we kept the two sets sizes for grey dots, it helps give the experience a bit of depth and texture imo. My hope is that the difference in color will be enough to differentiate them from black active dots. One thing I would like us to is to lower the density of passive grey freckles (© leetom), especially (or exclusively) the larger ones as the current display feels a bit cluttered. Would it be possible to test different settings?
- I like how clean the circle is and the subtle color difference with the main background. I believe Lee had a few thoughts on this too so it would be good if we can tweak until we're happy. My understanding is that these are all easy tweaks.
- Last comment on my end: as mentioned to Cory and Schalk, would be great if we can do everything we can to make sure the dots fill the circle fully. I get a lot of blank space along the circle line, espec. on the bottom right.

Do you mean that we should keep all of the inactive dots the same size and not have two different sizes as it is currently?

You mean simply have less inactive dots?
