The missing character in the localization is actually U+204A TIRONIAN SIGN ET.
http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/204a/index.htm
Irish would eventually like to use this too, if we can find a suitable font - we're letting gd be our canary in the coal mine ;)

Yes, what Kevin said. I actually have two bugs open for a fix for this issue:
Bug 1015496 (Android specific bug)
Bug 981779 (OS specific bug)
And your bug is actually a duplicate of Bug 1054530. Unfortunately there has not been much activity.

I also see that Bug 1054530 is a dupe of Bug 981779, so closing the loop :)

Delphine, is this a duplicate? I filed two bugs because I'm always being barked at for covering more than one issue per bug...
* In Firefox Mobile (Android and future iOS) this character somehow needs to be shipped with the app
* In OS, it needs to be shipped with the OS
I kind of assumed this are two different problems? But if you guys think there is one fix for both, then great :)

Hey Michael! When I look at this bug, Bug 1054530 and Bug 981779 it seems they are all filed under Firefox OS. So I think if this gets fixed in the general bug it should be ok. Unless I'm missing something? thanks :)
