host is stuck at "Checking your Mac" upon reboot when holding down "d" for diagnostics. I waited about 10 minutes and it was still stuck at 1%. The solutions online were to wait it out, could take hours. I went ahead and initiated a reimage and will try to rerun diagnostics when it comes back. fwiw, i believe this is one of the recent used mac minis we've procured from terminal.

host reimaged fine will try to run diagnostics after it's done "Checking Your Mac".

looks like the "Checking Your Mac" is the new basic diagnostics in Yosemite. You need to press option+D now for the advanced diagnostic options. host passed basic diags, running advanced diags.

Diagnostics completed with no issues detected. I reimaged the host. ssh t-yosemite-r5-0023.test.releng.scl3.mozilla.com The authenticity of host 't-yosemite-r5-0023.test.releng.scl3.mozilla.com (10.26.56.89)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is 81:8a:2c:bf:40:42:9a:d9:77:6b:13:30:1b:ef:21:27. Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)
