Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the https://addons-dev.allizom.org/en-US/firefox/users/register registration page 
2. Type the 4 spaces before the text and 4 spaces after ("    name_user    ") in the "Username" field
3. Enter the the other required fields with the valid data 
4. Click the "Register" button
5. Look at the "Congratulations! Your user account was successfully created. " message


Actual results:

The spaces are accepted in the "Username" field in the Registration form


Expected results:

The spaces are not accepted in the "Username" field in the Registration form

This is not a security bug.

as filed, this isn't a bug unless it's causing something to break.

"   Mary" and "Mary    " are accepted as usernames but "Mary Mary" is not accepted. I think that is what Dina has filed the bug about.
