BuddyUp currently only works on Firefox OS 2.0 and higher. Since the marketplace won't let us restrict it to those users only, we need to make it clear to them, the app won't work for them.
One way to do this is as a full page model error message.

I'm thinking about displaying a screen that warns the user with a button at the bottom to close the application and return to the homescreen. Looking like this: http://buildingfirefoxos.com/building-blocks/confirm.html
Joni: Could you provide some wording for the title, warning text and button?
Hermina: Is that acceptable UI for this?

Anthony, here's the suggested wording:
Title: Incompatible version
Warning text: BuddyUp can't be installed on your version of Firefox OS. Close this window to return to your home screen.
Button: Close

I think Joni's proposal is good, I would just add:
Warning text: We're sorry, but BuddyUp can't be installed on your version of Firefox OS. Please close this window to return to your home screen.

I tested this on one Alcatel 1.3 device so far, and although I did get the warning, the first time I installed it I actually was able to run it a bit. I then deleted that version and reinstalled the app, and I haven't yet been able to reproduce the issue.
