The error message downloading app's data (e.g. while offline) has only space for two lines, but some localizations require longer text (e.g. German) and the text gets cut off.

Can you upload a screenshot or more description, please? Not sure where you're referencing.

Is it possible to make this message shorter?  We apologize in it at the start and then ask them to try later.  Maybe "Failed to fetch data.  Please try later." would work?

That said, we talked about making the toasts resizable based on the length as a more permanent solution.

Coce, can you please shorten the string at https://github.com/mozilla/fireplace/blob/master/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/messages.po#L718 to "Es gab Probleme beim Herunterladen der App. Bitte versuchen Sie es später erneut." Thanks.
