Hi Cory, I see that copy is expected today for this. Are we aiming for first round of design today as well?

Hey Mat!
Do you think we can have some designs by Tuesday?
Hi Cory, I don't see a problem getting some designs by Tuesday. Thanks for passing along copy.
Hi all, I've attached a layout for the iOS/Android Email link confirmation. Kept things pretty simple and similar to the last Email confirmation for Android. Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
MT

Hey there, had a quick chat with bniolet about this. A few things to consider:
- the primary purpose of this email is for users to open via their mobile device. What will this look like on a phone screen? Stacked buttons? Which first?
- why not use the standard Google Play and App Store buttons which are so recognizable as CTAs?
- missing something along the lines of "click to install", or "install now"

Matt or Lee, can you comment here?

This copy has been reviewed and approved, as far as I know. Given that these people have sent themselves the link and are expecting it, I think what we have works.

I believe Matt is looking into using the official GooglePlay and iTunes badges for the CTAs. On mobile view, I'd imagine the buttons would have to stack.
Fabio, as far as which button is first, can you recommend which appears on top?

Hi guys, I am currently working on a mobile view using a stacked approach as well as incorporating GooglePlay and iTunes badges to replace the green CTAs. Will have something to show shortly.
Thanks,
MT

iOS first. I expect more downloads since it's new.

I've attached an updated layout for 600px wide as well as what it might look like at mobile dimensions.

Matt, had a conversation with team about this and there's a flag that fox depicted is specifically for Firefox OS.
If that's a branding issue, maybe we can just use the tail to fill the white space?

We're now using that fox more widely, as you can see here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/products/
Should be OK to use here as well.

That's a Firefox OS web page... oh nvm ;)
Thanks Matej. Good layout and design on this page BTW.

Checking back in on this bug, guys. Are we close to a design for the emails? We've got time to get them coded, no problem. Just making sure I'm not missing something.
Also is text ready? It'll need to be localized.

The copy has been updated in https://docs.google.com/a/mozilla.com/document/d/1hnsylYMQx12yXqGQaR_gfZlNKyo6F6adhA_ramsnN1c/edit but is not reflected in the designs in this bug.
Otherwise I think the designs are good to go, we just need to make sure we have all the various versions.
Cory, can you confirm?

Thanks Matej/Ben! Yeah the copy for these communications is in the deck Matej posted. I should have posted it here, my bad.

No worries. I'll ship it off to L10n. When we're ready with design, PSDs would be super groovy too!

Great!
Is there a separate stand-alone email for iOS? We're still testing one email with both links vs. device specific form / links, right?

We will need a design for an iOS only email (NI mternoway). The copy for the email is in the copy document under
> EMAIL WITH LINK FOR iOS

Here's the Android stand-alone. Should this now use the official Google Play image so that it is consistent with the new ios-android version?

When does the EN test go live? Need a drop date for the EN versions.

Thanks for flagging, Ben. Here's what I'm thinking could work for the iOS only version. If all is ok, I can post the PSD as well.

Works for me, MT! Bring on the PSD.
If it works for you, we'll slice out the Google Play store from the combined version and use that for the CTA on the Android-only edition: the one you created for FX37. Sound good?

That works for me!

Hi team. We need to update the image in this email message to reflect our new screenshot for the landing page.
Landing Page:
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ios/
Email:
https://www.emailonacid.com/app/acidtest/display/summary/fX5U1QCcLqzXY58Bb3lL80fUqFoCnHxwjRzPoEdjBwX14/shared
Also, while we've got this bug back open, do we have localized versions of the App Store button? For our other email supported languages, we're just using an HTML button with text. Might be good to be consistent. Supported languages (ES, PT-BR, DE, FR, RU, PL, ID, HU)
