Seamonkey is quaranteed by Norton Internet security after an update distributed on 3/23 or 3/24/2015. Norton finds SONAR.Heuristic.120 but it probably a false detecteion. After reinstall of seamonkey it does not work.

Details

(Whiteboard: After reboot tried another re-install of Seamonkey and now seems to be restored OK.)

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/7.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; InfoPath.3; .NET4.0E; rv:11.0) like Gecko Steps to reproduce: Norton guaranteed SeaMonkey.exe and an additional 133 Seamonkey files. Also made many registry updates. After that Seamonkey of course does not work. I reinstalled seamonkey from a download, fearing that there was a virus in the quaranteed files. The reinstalled program seemed to work but after a reboot, the seamonkey executable was gone and it no longer works. There was no additional errors reported by Norton. Now it is unclear what to do next. re-install again from download or restore the quaranteed files from within Norton seem like options. Actual results: I put version 2.36 above but do not know what the version was, It was at the latest possible version before that most recent update ended in disaster. Expected results: Update has something in it that looks like SONAR.Heuristic.120 to Norton. Would be best that the update does not look like a virus so it can be installed successfully.
Why is this a bug in SeaMonkey and not in Norton's software? Have you reported this to Norton? How did you update Seamonkey?
