From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010914 BuildID: 2001092020 page comes up as text even though it has <!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en"> Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to site 2. 3. maybe this site has some IE quirks that are useful to support anyway..
Site sends the page as text/plain. Unlike IE we actually assume that they know what they're doing and respect that. Netscape 4.x also shows the page as plaintext, as do lynx and amaya. Over to evangelism... IE is the _only_ browser I have on hand that will ignore server content types in cases like this.

I've mailed the author. He doesn't have the required rights to change this, but will set a note to use the maintained and working version of the page at http://www.3dcompression.com - so this is a wontfix :/
