As a user, I want to make my first payment on Firefox OS without signing in because I already did that when I unboxed my phone.

We have a few challenges in newer versions of Firefox OS to fulfill this story. This meta bug will track the dependencies.
bug 1145878 explains why we can't use the existing mozId flow and bug 1098519 is an idea for how we could use mozId securely (via oauth).
Depends on: 1098519
for bug 1098519 we also need this FxA change https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-relier-client/issues/33 This would allow the oauth flow to be used from mozId
Summary: [meta] Provide a single sign-on payments flow for Firefox OS → [tracking] Provide a single sign-on payments flow for Firefox OS
I'm not sure if this applies, but Ryan Kelly gave us an idea for an unrelated project to pass around scoped oauth tokens. The first party could scope the token for 'payments' and the payments service could verify the token and extract user account info from it without asking the user to re-do the whole login flow.
Based on the recently announced future plans for the Marketplace to remove payments, closing these bugs.
