Steps to reproduce:
I type in an url and no webpages will load after I upgraded to Mozilla 36.0.4
Actual results:
nothing loads
Expected results:
The webpage should have loaded

This looks like a possible duplicate of Bug 1148020, reported the same day. The main difference is the OS.
Nope. Mine doesn't insert itself to another address bar. Mine is a Mozilla 36.0.4 or whatever x.0.4 Mozilla is on. Mine is a known issue with Windows 8.1, but Tue fixes I have found don't work.

Hello,
i had just made a test with todays new release 37, win8.1 with a new profile... I can't reproduce this.
can you try a update and give a short feedback?

Works fine on the latest release 42.
