Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0
Build ID: 20150312145801

Steps to reproduce:

So one of the big changes in Lollipop was the switch to using circles to display images (mostly avatars). During the material design presentation, the powers that be, spoke of the merits of presenting images in circles. Anyway there was talk about the benefits of presenting images when contained in lists as circles. We should experiment with presenting our favicons in circles on the awesomescreen.

Paul, do you have a link to the presentation, or a summary of the benefits? I'm wondering what they are.

https://youtu.be/isYZXwaP3Q4?t=20m55s is a link to the presentation. I took the liberty of linking directly to the part they reference circles (20m55s).
