[Build-ID: 2001-12-11-08] On http://www.theregister.co.uk there are several banners - the top one is from uk.doubleclick.net and you can easily block that one if you right-click on it. Another banner on the left side of the page shows ad.uk.doubleclick.net also if you hold your mouse over it, but if you block the first one this one is still visible. Trying to block the left one only results in entire www.theregister.co.uk being blocked. I will attach a screenshot that demonstrates this. This bug can be related to bug 69486, but in that bug they didn't even get an option to block the image when they right-clicked on it.

I have run into several sites that has this behaviour also, and I think it has something to do with where the banner points. Bug 69486 is about not being able to block images from banners that have redirects as their target, but I cannot actually reproduce that bug on the given testcase. Could it be however that in this bug the same thing is happening? The left banner on theregister.co.uk points to: http://ad.uk.doubleclick.net/click;h=v2|2e09|0|0|%2a|p;4016348;0-0;1;3579356;2-120|90;607397|606656|1;;%3fhttp://www.clickandbuild.com/cnb/shop/cashncarrion?listPos=&productID=38&search=&op=catalogue-product_info-null&prodCategoryID=5 While the banner image is located at http://www.theregister.co.uk/media/759.gif.
Keywords: testcase
This bug is invalid because the current behavior on the testcase is correct. If you look carefully at the source of the testcase, the IMAGE source (IMG tag) points to the www.theregister.co.uk whereas the LINK (A tag) points to ad.uk.doubleclick.net. No redirect is event happening here.
Agreed.
